Woodend Cottage has a cosy living room with period style open fire, while Tuath Cala and Curlew Cottage both have a vaulted ceiling in the living room. Excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep with the Estate’s forest amenities to explore and the ancient Caledonian Forest of Glen Affric and Plodda Falls only a short drive. Excellent golf, only 20 miles to Castle Stuart ’Scottish Open Course’ and many other courses to play within 30 minutes drive. The ’Bonnie Black Isle’ is a good day out with lovely seaside villages to explore including the village of Cromarty and possible dolphin spotting at Chanory Point. Inverness, 13 miles, has city attractions, riverside theatre, boat trips on Loch Ness and Moray Firth with Culloden Battlefield worth visiting. Only 3 miles from Loch Ness with pub serving food, shop at Dromnadrochit, 7 miles, with Loch Ness Exhibition and the haunting beauty of Urquart Castle.
