Views of sea and mountains

With wonderful views of the sea or mountains from every room, this spacious first floor wing is situated just yards from the 18th hole of Seascale Golf Club, home of the 2012 English amateur golf championship. The house has many original features including fireplaces. One of the bathrooms has original floor to ceiling marble walls. There is also a second, large, more modern bathroom. Both have separate shower bath, toilet and wash basin. The house sits in its own large garden just a short walk from the beach at Seascale, near to Wasdale and Eskdale. Large rooms make this an ideal base for 2 families holidaying together. With plenty to do in the area including walks in the dramatic and awe inspiring Wasdale Valley and Scafell, visits to the nearby Muncaster Castle with its large collection of owls, Ravenglass and Eskdale Narrow Gauge Steam Railway, and Whitehaven, a Georgian sea port with its restored harbour and marina, and range of traditional and specialist shops and eating places. Golf is right on the doorstep and a small hotel just a short walk away offering real ale and family meals out. Shop 0.5 mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
