Waters Reach is a delightful country holiday cottage, located in Buxworth, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Situated just yards from a country pub that was once owned by Coronation Street’s Pat Phoenix. The cottage provides cosy accommodation which will appeal to couples looking for a romantic escape or for families. The property features a second TV in the second floor bedroom and a welcome pack including homemade cake. Waters Reach is ideal for strolls along the towpath to Whaley Bridge or towards Cheshire, and there are more energetic walks onto Kinder Scout. Other activities include cycling (Tissington Trail and Sett Valley Trail) and horse riding, and climbers will enjoy the‘nursery slopes’ that surround the Hope Valley. The cottage provides an ideal touring base, with Castleton, Buxton, Bakewell, the Derbyshire Dales, and the Peak District National Park only a short drive away. There are also many wonderful stately homes within a short distance of Buxworth, including Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, as well as many National Trust sites such as Lyme Park, Sudbury, Kedleston, Little Moreton Hall and Gawsworth. Shop ½ mile, pub 20 yards and restaurant 1½ miles.
