This stone, detached spacious holiday house has been fully furnished to a good standard and is situated beside a main road, in an ideal location for visiting the many attractions within The Peak District National Park. Not even a ½ mile away is the The Steam Railway and Museum. Here you can book 1 or 2 hour lessons on the ‘Royal Pioneer’ steam locomotive. Medieval Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are all within 5 miles and Matlock and Matlock Bath are only 1 to 3 miles distant, here you can visit The Heights of Abraham, Gullivers Kingdom, antique shops, café, bars, restaurants, mining museum and the aquatic centre. For something a little more tranquil, take a stroll along the river from Matlock to Matlock Bath or choose one of the many other trails this stunning area has to offer. Visit Buxton and take in a show or have tea in the garden pavilion. Castleton and the caves where the Blue John Stone is mined, unique to this area, is well worth a visit. Shop and pub 1 mile, restaurant 1½ miles.
