The Barn (ref 27977) and Bramble Cottage (ref 27978) are semi-detached and The Stable (ref 30562) stands detached and are in a perfect location for wedding ceremonies, providing ideal accommodation. Just 2 miles from Whalley, with its historic buildings, charming shops, cafes and restaurants, it is the perfect base for exploring the Ribble Valley, Pendle and the Trough of Bowland. With walks from the doorstep, the area is also popular for cyclists and mountain bikers. There are several fisheries nearby including trout and fly fishing, and Whalley Golf Club is less than a mile away. Situated on a bridle path, there is stabling available on site (to be arranged directly with owner). Children will love Brockholes Nature Reserve, Bowland Wild Boar Park and the Roman museum at Ribchester. There is also a dry ski slope nearby at Pendle. Other places of interest include Gawthorpe Hall, Samlesbury Hall, Townley Hall and Clitheroe with its castle and museum. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are both within an hour’s drive. There is a golf course approximately 1 mile away which is open to non-members. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
