Peacefully located close to the magnificent Northumbrian Heritage Coast, with beautiful views to Bamburgh and Holy Island, these holiday homes (refs MTL, MTO and MUN) offer contemporary interiors in traditional buildings with spacious surroundings. Just ½ mile from the A1, but completely out of sight, with the charming village of Belford (6 miles) with full amenities, and 9 miles from the historic town of Alnwick, Northumberland’s ducal town, with cobbled streets, weekly market, Playhouse Theatre, medieval castle used in Harry Potter with enchanting water gardens and a treehouse restaurant. Bamburgh, with its fine fortress towering over the village, is a short drive with a beautiful golden sandy beach. Nearby Seahouses, famous for fish and chips and friendly seaside atmosphere, has a small working fishing harbour where boat trips can be taken to The Farne Islands to visit the seals and puffins, or Craster famous for smoked kippers with its beautiful walk to Dunstanburgh Castle. A trip across the tidal causeway to Lindisfarne Holy Island, is a must, (check tides). Discover small friendly villages, vast unspoilt beaches and coastline in this AONB.
