After relocating, Sarah began producing and selling gingerbread. Her popularity grew and eventually the recipe was passed on to her great niece who sold it. Today travellers can stop by for a bite of some of the best gingerbread in the United Kingdom.
The Wordsworth Museum can be found right next door to the famous Dove Cottage. Travellers can round out their visit by touring both landmarks.
