These delightful holiday barn conversions (30813, 30814, 30815, 30816 and 30817) are situated on the owners working dairy farm in the picturesque location of Arlingham, Gloucestershire. Located in the horseshoe bend of the River Severn, Arlingham is surrounded by fantastic views of the Cotswold Hills and the Forest of Dean. Within a lovely woodland walk you will find the local village inn, were you will find home cooked food, real ales, fine wines and a warm country welcome. Also within walking distance is another award-winning inn, renowned for its fresh seafood. Several other pubs, restaurants and takeaways are only a short drive away. This wonderful area is an ideal base for circular riverside and country walks and to explore the Severn Way. The river runs for 2 miles along the farm itself, with its own walks and perfect picnic spots. To reach the holiday properties, guests will need to pass through the village of Frampton-on-Severn, which is home to the longest village green in England offering two pubs, a village shop, a cafe, canal side walks as well as annual events such as Frampton Feast (August), Giffords Circus (August) and Frampton Country Fair (September). Further along the canal bank in the village of Saul, guests will find a cafe which offers a wonderful spot for tea and cake whilst watching the boats go by. Saul also has a marina. Also within easy driving are Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetland Park, Cotswold Water Park, Berkeley Castle and butterfly house, Prinknash Abbey (Bird and Deer Park), Thornbury Castle and Cheltenham racecourse.
