Tara is a spacious, reverse level detached house, designed to take best advantage of the stunning direct views across the Solent towards Lymington. With its dramatically vaulted open-plan living space, Tara presents beautifully appointed accommodation. Tara boasts a private, enclosed garden which wraps around the property and is filled with established shrubs and trees. This holiday property is situated on the Yarmouth to Newport road. Bouldnor viewpoint is just across the road, and additional parking is available here if required. Historic Yarmouth is only 2 minutes away by car, or a 10-minute walk, and is considered by many to be the most picturesque town on the island with its harbour, castle, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and unique wooden pier. Yarmouth is also famous for its annual ‘Old Gaffers’ festival. Fishing, boat trips and cycle hire are available. From the town you can take an open double decker bus to the Needles viewpoint, stopping off at Alum Bay famous for its coloured sands and fossils. For the return you can walk the Tennison Downs and take in the breathtaking sea views. West Wight is also famous for the miles of sandy beaches at Compton with miles of coastal footpaths together with the discovery of dinosaur remains. There are many other attractions to visit from Carisbrooke Castle to Blackgang Chine- simply too many to mention! Beach 1 mile. Shop and pub ½ mile.
