This well-presented cosy cottage for two enjoys an enviable location, quietly tucked away in a courtyard development just 200 yards from the heart of Sandwich, one of the most beautifully preserved medieval towns in Britain. Within 50 yards, a lovely riverside park (pictured) is ideal for a peaceful amble, and pubs, restaurants, bars, cafés, cinema, independent shops, ancient churches, the White Mill windmill and museum, farm shops and the railway station are all an easy walk. The shingle beach at Sandwich Bay lies 2 miles away and many nearby historic sites including Richborough Roman fort and amphitheatre, and the fascinating castles at Deal, Walmer and Dover are in the care of English Heritage. The White Cliffs of Dover (10 miles) enjoy worldwide fame and day trips to Europe are easily accessible.
