This spacious detached Victorian cottage has been immaculately renovated and retains many of its original characteristics. The large open fireplace in the living room is a focal point and the calming white décor throughout gives this charming cottage a fresh, bright Scandinavian feel. The award-winning garden remains true to its Victorian heritage, and includes a separate orchard. This is a peaceful location along a quiet lane, just one mile from Colerne; a picturesque historical country village beside the Bybrook Valley and an area of conservation due to its outstanding natural beauty. It is set on the edge of the Cotswolds and Bath with architecture dating from the 16th century. The house enjoys far reaching views over the beautiful Box Valley and Lucknham Park with its state of the art luxury spa is just a 5-minute stroll away. Just outside Colerne are the Three Shire Stones famously marking the point where Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire meet. A rural retreat but situated very close to the Georgian city of Bath, which is 6 miles east. Bath is designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and the only complete city in the UK afforded World Heritage status. Bath is also famous for the Roman Baths and the spa. Stonehenge, Lacock (where BBC’s Cranford series was filmed), Corsham, Castle Combe and many historical villages in the Wiltshire countryside are accessible by car. National Trust properties Dyrham Park, Prior Park overlooking Bath, and Lacock Abbey are a short drive and beautiful Stourhead and Tyntesfield are an hour’s drive. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Spacious living room with open fire. Spacious kitchen with dining area. Utility. Separate toilet. First floor: Two double bedrooms; each with 5ft bed, one with en-suite shower room and toilet. Further double bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.
