Thetford Forest’s walking and cycling paths, Constable Country, Southwold on the Suffolk Heritage coast, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath, Ickworth (NT) the historic town of Bury St Edmunds (13 miles) and medieval Norwich city, with its cathedral, castle and fine shopping, are all within an easy drive as are the north Norfolk coast and Norfolk Broads. Closer to home, bird watching at Redgrave and Lopham Fens, countryside walks at Thornham Park, and Bressingham Steam Museum are all popular with visitors, and the market town of Diss is 6 miles.
