This beautifully appointed, ground floor apartment, within a Victorian seaside villa, has its own sun terrace looking directly out to sea. It makes a perfect haven for a great seaside holiday. An enclosed, private and secluded courtyard lies to the rear set into the natural stone cliff, and together with its stunning seascape at the front, the apartment offers the best of Ventnor, with the cosmopolitan town centre, its chic bars, bistros and vintage-inspired shops just 2 minutes’ walk away. Ventnor’s popular shingle and sand beach - where freshly caught fish of the day can be purchased at the marina - is about 5 minutes’ walk downhill. Blackgang Chine is nearby, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, and within easy reach are the Needles and Alum Bay. Attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, a pearl centre, a dinosaur museum, a donkey sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill, which has a 17th-century working watermill. Also worth a visit are Osborne House and Gardens (Queen Victoria’s holiday residence), Carisbrooke Castle and the sailing town of Yarmouth. Cowes in the north west of the island is renowned for its sailing. Outdoor pursuits include scenic walking, riding, fishing, cycling, water sports and golf. The island can be explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

9 steps to entrance (2 at rear). All on ground floor: Living room with patio doors/dining room with patio doors/kitchen with breakfast area. Wooden floors throughout. 2 double bedrooms, one (5ft) with beams and Velux, one 4ft. Bathroom with shower over double bath and toilet.
