In a peaceful, rural location, this detached holiday cottage enjoys views across farmland and also over towards the rugged coastline and open sea. It lies close to Sarclet Bay, also known as the Haven where an old track will lead to the remains of an abandoned fishing station. This is an area steeped in history with many prehistoric sites and castles. The bustling town of Wick is only a few miles away with many amenities including pubs, restaurants and shops. The unique Orkney Islands can be easily reached for a day out. Mountain biking, watersports, sea trips, fishing and rock climbing are available, or walk along one of the many unspoilt beaches of this beautiful part of the Highlands and enjoy the fresh air and tranquillity. Shops 5 miles, pubs and restaurant 1.5 miles.
