Situated within a traditional steading, these two semi-detached holiday cottages, adjacent to the owners’ home, are located on a working farm in a quiet, peaceful location, with an abundance of wildlife including roe deer, red squirrels and plentiful birdlife, and is close to the town of Dalbeattie. This is a popular area with walkers and cyclists alike, with the Dalbeattie 7 Stanes biking trails close by and the NT Jubilee Path between Kippford and Rockcliffe always popular. Visit Sweetheart Abbey, Drumcoltran Tower or New Abbey Watermill. Sea fishing is available all along the extensive coastline. Dumfries, 20 miles, home to Robert Burns in his later years, is well worth visiting for its many modern amenities and range of historical sites. Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright are also accessible. Shop, pub and restaurant 6 miles.
