Quince Cottage is a detached, stone holiday cottage, built in the late 1800s, which is full of character and charm, with original exposed stonework and beams and great views of the surrounding countryside. Nestled away in the quietest of villages, Quince Cottage has all of the delights of a peaceful location, being adjacent to a shared 8-acre nature reserve, and is perfect for dog walking, exploring and watching the local wildlife in their own environment. Backing onto the local church and perfect for walkers, there are many public footpaths that lead through the village. The 12th century village pub is a 2-minute walk away and serves home-cooked food and local ales. The nearby village of Tysoe, 3 miles, has a shop selling local produce and goods. For guests wishing to explore a little further afield, but still within easy driving distance, there is the opportunity to visit many of the local Cotswold villages, including Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway, Chipping Campden and Chipping Norton. Only 8 miles away from the historic market town of Banbury, guests will find plenty of places to eat and shop and also see the famous statue of the ’Lady on a white horse’. Also within 30 minutes’ drive are Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Leamington Spa, whilst within an hour, visitors can reach Oxford, Bicester Village Designer Outlet, Althorpe Park, Silverstone and the NEC.
