This stylish Victorian semi-detached holiday home, with a fully enclosed walled courtyard, is just a short stroll from the centre of Newmarket with its famous racecourse and National Horse Racing Museum. Home to the Sport of Kings since 1605, free tours of the racecourse are available. Newmarket also has an interesting range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy, also the grand clock tower and the King Edward VII Memorial Gardens. The city of Cambridge is a short drive away, famous for its colleges, museums, botanic gardens, art galleries and punting on the River Cam. Locally there are many interesting places to visit including Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral and Theatre Royal, built in 1819 it is a rare example of a Georgian playhouse. National Trust properties can be found at Ickworth Park and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Also worth visiting is Ely with its 12th century cathedral and range of interesting shops and restaurants.
