Cadame is a delightful, one-bedroomed apartment positioned in a prime location, right in the heart of the historic town of Whitby. It is situated on the ground floor with stairs leading to the double bedroom and bathroom. Tastefully furnished throughout, the apartment is an ideal base for couples looking to explore the Yorkshire Coast or the North York Moors National Park areas close by. The town centre and the three miles of golden beach are literally a few minutes’ walk from the apartment and Whitby has an abundance of activities and amenities to suit all tastes. The whole area is a haven for keen ramblers and cyclists with access to the famous 110-mile Cleveland Way close to the apartment, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the cliff top passing the pretty resorts of Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes, enjoying some stunning scenery along the way. Whitby has many events taking place all year round which are extremely popular including folk week, music weekends including sixties and soul weekends and also Goth weekends mainly because of Whitby’s connection with Dracula. Whitby is also famous for its fish and chips, as is claimed to be the ’best fish and chips in Britain’ by Rick Stein the famous seafood chef. The local tour bus is an excellent way of visiting some of Whitby’s highlights including the stunning abbey and St. Mary’s Church positioned on the cliff top. You can also take one of the many pleasure cruises that will take you out to sea for 1 hour which is a memorable experience.
