Nestled in a truly tranquil setting in a quiet valley in the village of Dunvant at the gateway to the beautiful Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Boasting 60 acres of farm and woodland including two ponds (one for fishing) and at least 1 acre of lawned gardens where picnics and barbecues can be enjoyed. Gower is renowned for its stunning sandy beaches, many of which have won awards, has beautiful bays, hidden coves and coastal paths with breathtaking cliff top walks. Surfing is very popular in the area and there are outdoor pursuits in abundance to enjoy. The busy town of Swansea is approximately 5 miles and offers great shopping, bars, restaurants and night clubs as well as Wales’ largest indoor market, museums, marina and maritime quarter. Mumbles, which is a popular seaside town, offers an excellent selection of bistros and cafés and independent shops selling local produce. The Liberty Stadium is home to ‘The Swans’ Premier Football Club and also The Ospreys rugby team. Golf and horse riding will be found in the local area. The properties can be booked together for large groups and reunions and Rose Cottage (ref 28780) has an interconnecting door to The Annex (ref 28777) so can be booked as one to sleep up to 8. Beach 5 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
