This beautiful detached stone holiday cottage, set within the owner’s grounds, is completely surrounded by the stunning scenery of the spectacular Hope Valley in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Hathersage, a popular Peak District village is approximately 5 minutes. This former barn conversion has been thoughtfully decorated with a bright, fresh and airy feel, complete with original exposed beams above the windows and doors. As the birth and resting place of Little John and inspiration for Charlotte Bronte’s novel ’Jane Eyre’, Hathersage is a popular holiday base for exploring all that the Hope Valley and the surrounding areas has to offer. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy riverside walks through the woods, the National Trust’s Longshaw Estate, or Stanage Edge, a mecca for rock climbers. Cyclists are spoilt for choice, with routes suitable for all levels. During the summer months swimmers can enjoy the luxury of one of the few remaining open air swimming pools. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
