Meadowside is situated in the village of Burniston just north of Scarborough, and it has all the mod cons you could require. It is a very spacious detached property with lots of room for a large family with gardens to the front and rear. The rear garden is enclosed making it ideal for children and pets. It is just a short walk to the shop and the local pubs, all of which serve food. Scarborough is just a few minutes by car, which has more amenities, as well as a large shopping centre and traditional seaside shops. The Cleveland Way runs along the cliffs, passing Burniston and travelling down the coast towards Filey. This makes Meadowside a great base for those ramblers amongst you as there are some fantastic cliff top walks between Scarborough and Whitby. The promenade at Scarborough runs through the two bays north and south and makes for an enjoyable evening stroll or catch the open top bus and take in the views. The castle stands on the prominent headland which separates the two bays. The east coast boasts some of the cleanest beaches in the UK, with Scarborough being one of them. As well as the great beaches, you have easy access to the North York Moors National Park. From Whitby, you can catch the steam train to Pickering and enjoy the moors and countryside, stopping off at Goathland where Heartbeat was filmed. Scarborough also has some excellent nightlife with the Stephen Joseph Theatre, some excellent restaurants and the famous open air theatre, the largest in Europe.
