These three adjoining holiday properties (refs SMMC, SMMD and UVO) are set in beautiful, landscaped grounds with spectacular views across the Sound of Sleat to Skye and are only 500 yards away from the shoreline and village of Balmacara. The properties are ideally placed for exploring some of the most dramatic scenery in the West Highlands and visitors can enjoy private fishing on hill lochs during their stay. Minutes away by car is the enigmatic Isle of Skye dominated by the Cuillins, Eilean Donan Castle, the pretty village of Plockton and the Five Sisters of Kintail. The breathtaking drive across the ‘Pass of the Cattle’ leads to the village of Applecross, recently featured in Monty Hall’s Great Escape on BBC television. Experience wildlife safaris such as marine life, sea/loch fishing, water sports and magnificent mountains for hill walking, climbing and biking. A network of National Trust paths, signposted from the grounds of Sgurr Mor, affords views of the surrounding area. Shop and pub 500 yards and excellent restaurants in and around Plockton.
