This delightful, spacious, quirky, single-storey detached holiday property with distant views of Snowdonia, has been beautifully furnished with antiques with a Welsh theme. Built in the 1830s, the name means ’Pink Lodge’, and there is a lovely large garden bordering red squirrel woodland. Over the road is Plas Newydd (NT), home of the Marquess of Anglesey, famous for its painting by Rex Whistler. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, the little village with the long name, is 2 miles, and ten minutes’ drive to beaches at Newborough, including Llanddwyn Island, the home of the patron saint of Welsh lovers. Beaumaris Castle is within easy reach and is worth a visit. Horse riding and golf nearby. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Large reception hall. Living room with open fire and garden door. Dining room. Kitchen. Double bedroom with antique 5ft 6in bed. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with roll-top bath, shower attachment, separate shower cubicle and toilet.
