Breathtaking views

High on the hillside just north of the popular Lakeland village of Windermere, Langdale View is a superb four bedroomed holiday property - the wing of a very large detached house and has been tastefully renovated to provide four en-suite bedrooms, three of which have stunning views of the Langdale Pikes, and one with its own separate seating area. Overlooking Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells the scenery is simply breathtaking. The delightful nearby villages of Windermere and Bowness have interesting boutiques, tea rooms and craft shops for browsing, as well as ferry trips on the lake. The craggy fells and peaceful lakes inspired William Wordsworth, whose home in Grasmere is open to visitors, and also Beatrix Potter, who lived at Hill Top at Sawrey, a 17th century farm which is now preserved by the National Trust.
