With spectacular sea views, this traditional terraced fisherman’s cottage has been lovingly renovated by the owners to a very good standard. With contemporary furnishings, a cosy woodburner, and a DVD-projector system with 3.1 surround sound, this is an ideal holiday property whatever the weather. The enclosed private garden leads to the beach, and has a patio area ideal for relaxing in with a glass of wine after a long day exploring the local area. Anstruther is within walking distance with its historic harbour, quaint shops, bars and restaurants, or enjoy fish and chips from an award winning restaurant. Take a boat trip to the Isle of May, where you can visit the bird sanctuary, famous for its puffins and seals. The Fife coastal path runs through the village, with historic castles, pretty fishing villages and many beautiful beaches and coves to visit along the way. The ancient university town of St Andrews is 9 miles away, famous for its golf courses as well as many other local attractions close by. Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth are all within one hour’s drive. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 220 yards.
