Perched at the head of a prestigious road within the picture postcard village of Bamburgh proudly sits Hill Head, a grand Edwardian end of terrace family property with an abundance of charm. Hill Head enjoys an enviable position, with sweeping views across open farmland to the west and south, towards the sea and the magnificent Bamburgh Castle to the east. The spacious accommodation is set over three floors and boasts a lovely, homely ambience throughout.

Bamburgh, protected by its dramatic fortress which commands the power and presence of the seasoned film set it regularly becomes, is only a gentle stroll from Hill Head, along with a few pubs, restaurants and shops. The wide expanses of golden, and often empty, sandy beaches and where the tidal island of Lindisfarne, locally known as Holy Island and the birth place of Christianity, can be viewed are all within easy walking distance. Waren Mill is steeped in history and only two miles north. Once an important port, its harbour has long since disappeared, silted up beneath the sands of the estuary. Budle Bay is a bird sanctuary and at low tide a vast expanse of mud flats are home to countless thousands of sea and land birds making this location a haven for bird watchers. The traditional fishing port of Seahouses is only three miles south. Take a boat trip from its harbour to the Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony. The historic market town of Alnwick with its own castle offers many facilities around 15 miles inland. Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction with its grand cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe!

Hill Head is a quintessential coastal retreat for those seeking spacious self-catering holiday accommodation. It is suitable for a gathering of extended families and friends giving easy access to indulge in the simple pleasure of strolling barefoot in the sand, inhaling the invigorating sea air and watching the waves lapping against the shoreline of this stunning stretch of Heritage coastline. This region is proud to have been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
