Occupying a romantic setting on the estate of Chatsworth House, these two barn conversions date back to around 1668. Commanding beautiful views across Monash, Ashford-in-the-Water and Bakewell countryside, they adjoin each other in a quiet position on the owners’ non-working farm. Each has been lovingly furnished throughout, and both properties’ bedrooms boast en-suite facilities – with under-floor heating. The individual sitting-out areas for each property and the shared picnic benches in the wild meadow are the perfect place to relax amidst charming country surroundings – and there some superb walks throughout the Chatsworth Estate. An excellent base for touring the Peak District, they stand just a mile away from Bakewell (where visitors can make use of the sporting facilities – fly fishing, tennis and swimming). Within the surrounding area are many places of historical interest – the Arbor Low Stone Circle, Hob Hurst’s House and the Nine Ladies all stand as monument to prehistoric times, whilst Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall illustrate the splendour and opulence of times gone by. Shop, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.
Excellent base for touring Peak District. Welcome pack of local Chatsworth produce.

Living/dining room with rugs on slate floor, sofa-bed (for +1) and fitted kitchen area. First floor: Beamed twin bedroom with additional TV and en-suite shower room with toilet and underfloor heating.
