Located on a private rural drive on the outskirts of Buxton and surrounded by open countryside to the front and rear, this spacious holiday cottage, adjacent to the owner’s home, is in a perfect location for exploring the wonderful countryside of the Peak District National Park. It is conveniently located close to Buxton’s food, drink, shopping, golf course, music and entertainment on your doorstep. Beautifully presented throughout, in the winter you can relax at the end of the day next to the roaring multi-fuel burner in the cosy living room, or in the summer, sit outside on the decked area and take in the superb countryside surroundings. Famous for its opera house and its diverse and varied architecture, Buxton itself has a full program of events, including festivals of food, adventure, music and cinema. There is a large selection of boutique and independent shops, craft and gift emporiums and, of course, you are surrounded on three sides by the Peak District National Park - ideal for nature lovers. Walks can be enjoyed at Rushup Moor, the 10-mile ring of trees around Buxton and in the surrounding Peak District National Park. Cyclists can take advantage of both the Monsal and Tissington trails and for those seeking history and culture, the magnificent historic houses of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth are just 20 minutes away, as is the fascinating plague village of Eyam. The lovely market towns of Ashbourne and Matlock are reachable within 40 minutes and Castleton with its caverns and stunning Hope Valley scenery in just 15 minutes.
