Dating back to 1780, this detached, Grade II listed holiday property with a 20ft secluded, walled garden retains many original features such as exposed chalk walls, beamed ceilings, cast-iron fireplaces, Aga (decorative only), quarry-tiled floors and a Victorian roll-top bath. Hunmanby offers a 9-hole golf course, fishing lakes, shops, traditional inns and tea rooms. A short drive leads to the heart of the seaside town of Filey with its 5-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach. Hunmanby Gap, one of the east coast’s best kept secrets, has rock pooling and fossil hunting. Scarbrough, Bridlington and Flamborough are easily accessible. Coastal and countryside walks surround the area, from energetic walks to leisurely strolls; cycle trails and tracks and the Cleveland Way and Wolds Way offer unrivalled distance walks.
