Lying peacefully in a tranquil setting with panoramic views of the scenic Cambrian Mountains, these semi-detached holiday cottages (refs 29888 and 29889), adjacent to the owner’s home, provide an ideal getaway for couples looking to explore the rugged mountains and dramatic coast of Ceredigion. Situated in a small rural village with a traditional Welsh pub, the cottages are set in a tranquil location made up of 7 acres of lush meadow with a 2-acre shimmering fishing lake sourced with carp, ideal for coarse fishing. The cottages have been finished to a good standard, both with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge area for guests to enjoy. The location is truly magnificent and offers peace and tranquillity in abundance with breathtaking views over the rolling countryside where red kites soar high. Explore the picturesque Cambrian Mountains and discover the ancient ruins of Strata Florida Abbey or take a short drive to the village of Devils Bridge and discover the glistening, world famous waterfall as well as a seasonal gift shop, family run restaurant and the Vale of Rheidol steam railway which operates daily trips to the popular coastal resort of Aberystwyth. The picturesque coastal resorts of New Quay and Aberaeron are also worth a visit, offering tasteful restaurants, boutique gift shops and golden beaches set within tranquil harbours where dolphins can be spotted on a clear day!
