In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Excellent walking and cycling area

Set in a peaceful rural location on the borders of Dorset and Wiltshire, Whitebridge Farm (refs B4335, B4337 and B6844) is ideal for a family touring holiday. Both the South Wiltshire and Dorset cycle ways pass nearby and there are numerous waymarked walks, including the half-hour Shaftesbury town trail, which leads to the famous Gold Hill, with its magnificent views. Many historic houses in the area, including Stourhead (NT). An hour’s drive leads to Salisbury, Bath, Cheddar and Weymouth. Visit Stonehenge, and then the ancient Avebury Stone Circle. Set in 10 acres, the eight cottages, three of which are featured here, are grouped around an attractive grassed courtyard and were once stables for the owner’s impressive farmhouse (built in 1872). Old beams have been retained wherever possible and all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms for added comfort. Many pubs serving food and with outdoor eating/children’s play areas nearby - why not try East Knoyle for starters. Shop and pub within a mile.

All on ground floor: Living room with patio doors/dining room/kitchen. 1 double (6ft zip and link) bedroom with additional single (2ft 6in for child) and en-suite shower room with toilet.

Electricity heaters included.

All properties: Elec, bed linen and towels included. Travel Cot. Highchair. Electric Cooker. Microwave. Patio and furniture. Shared use of communal garden. Play area with swings. Shared BBQ. Parking. No smoking. Pets are welcome (must be kept on a lead at all times). Note: There is only room for the cots if the extra beds have not been used.
