These attractive and comfortable holiday cottages (refs 29292 and 30300 are 2-storey detached, and refs 29290, 29291, 29293 and 29294 are single-storey semi-detached) are set within a family-friendly development of holiday properties near to the seafront at Seaview, a popular fishing village on the island’s north east coast. The village features quaint streets and buildings, and offers guests a relaxing seaside atmosphere with quality shops and eateries approximately ¾ mile away. The cottages offer a great base for exploring the many attractions the island has to offer. There are also many walks and cycle routes nearby, and the area is perfect for bird watching. Seaview has a number of beaches and coves, with views across the Solent. Ryde has a popular seafront with extensive sandy beaches and a golf course only a couple of miles away. Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, and The Needles, with chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and the coloured sands of Alum Bay, are just a short drive. Further attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Pearl Centre, Dinosaur Museum, Donkey Sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill which has a 17th-century working water mill. Osborne House and Gardens, Carisbrook Castle and the sailing town of Yarmouth are worthy of a visit. Cowes in the north of the island is renowned for its sailing. Also within easy reach are vineyards and quaint villages, some with thatched roofs, including Godshill, Old Shanklin and Brighstone. Horse riding can be enjoyed in St Helens. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
