Wakonda is a comfortable, good quality, detached, single-storey bungalow in the peaceful, residential area of Lelant on the outskirts of St Ives. A short walk away is Lelant railway station where you can take the small, scenic coastal train in to St Ives (no parking worries). With cobbled streets, golden beaches and pretty harbour, St Ives is the perfect holiday destination. Its amazing light has made it a haven for painters, potters and artists, and is now home to the famous Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Pretty, sandy harbour beach is right in the heart of the town, perfect for families. The narrow streets are packed with interesting shops, galleries, crafts, cafés and restaurants. The beautiful sandy beach at Porthminster is popular with surfers and smaller Porthgwidden Beach is a quieter sheltered cove ideal for swimming with beach, café and stunning coastal walks. Just around the headland is Carbis Bay with golden sand and crystal clear waters perfect for swimming, sun bathing or relaxing. The area is great for water sports enthusiasts with sailing, wind surfing and water skiing. Hire a small motor boat from the harbour, or take a sea fishing trip. Wakonda is perfectly located for exploring the west, south and north Cornish coastline. Take the famous coastal road, voted one of the most scenic routes in Europe, to Zennor, which sits in the valley with a pretty church, museum and some fabulous walks. Continue to St Just, an old Cornish town with market square, galleries and quirky shops. Experience the Cornish tin mining industry at Geevor Tin Mine and Museum. Walk the picturesque Cornish coastal path to Cape Cornwall. Visit Famous Land’s End, White Sand Bay at Sennen Cove, Porthcurno Cove and the famous open air Minack Theatre. Stunning Porthkidney Beach and 18-hole golf course about 550 yards. Pub and restaurant ¼mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room with wooden floor. Kitchen/dining area with tiled floor. 3 double bedrooms (one space is for alternative sleeping only), one with en-suite shower room and toilet. Bathroom with toilet.
