The fishing village of Padstow is easily acessible. Newquay, with its excellent surfing beaches is approximately 12 miles away, and close by is Jamie Oliver’s restaurant, ’Fifteen’. The ancient fishing port of Fowey is within 10 miles and was the home to ’Daphne Du Maurier’; it has many events throughout the year such as the Du Maurier Festival and the Fowey Royal Reggatta. Bodmin Moor is also close by and provides an exellent location for horse riding, walking and mountain biking.
