The 17 acres of glorious parkland surrounding Henlle Hall, a fine example of a Grade II listed Georgian country house situated on the borders of England and Wales, provides a wonderfully peaceful rural setting for these four cottages. They have been skilfully converted into holiday retreats of quality from the 17th-century courtyard stable block adjacent to the hall and combine magnificent oak beams and fine quirky original features with smart contemporary furnishings. Each spacious cottage has its own bath or shower room with bathrobes, slippers and complimentary welcome toiletries as well as its own sitting-out area. Decorations and a tree for Christmas bookings are provided. Explore the grounds, comprising open parkland and mature woodlands with fabulous views, and the beautifully preserved walled garden. Enjoy coarse fishing in the pond or the 18-hole golf course a short stroll away. Each property also has its own hot tub. Beauty and spa treatments are available (at cost). Henlle Hall is well situated for exploring the many historic border land market towns, with their independent shops, eateries and pubs. Local activities include walking, pony trekking, golf and kayaking on the River Dee, in Llangollen, also home to a steam railway and horse-drawn narrow boat rides over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Chester and Shrewsbury are both easily accessible, as are Chirk and Powis Castles (NT). Home delivery of local produce can be arranged. Country Club and spa complex plus 2 restaurants within 0.5 miles. Shop and post office 1 mile.
