Set in the Dales National Park and dating back to 1695, this listed detached holiday property stands in the quiet, idyllic village of Gayle, close to the Pennine Way, making it ideal for walking direct from the door. Carefully restored, it combines original features with exposed stonework and pine floors, creating a spacious comfortable home in which to relax. A pretty stream with waterfalls runs through the village together with an ancient bridge. The bustling market town of Hawes is a 10-minute walk where you will find the Dales Centre Museum and Creamery, home to Wallace and Gromit’s favourite cheese. Nearby Semerwater, which is a large natural lake, provides a wealth of water activities such as swimming, fishing and sailing. There is a varied selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in Hawes. Shop 1 mile, pub 10 minutes’ walk.
