The Georgian hayloft and coach house conversion provides a very stylish and comfortable interior with its own private patio garden, a perfect base for exploring the myriad attractions of Norfolk and Suffolk. The property is attached to the owners’ Queen Anne home in 2 acres of grounds, there is use of an indoor swimming pool situated within an 18th-century style orangery next to an ancient mulberry tree. It lies on the edge of a small riverside village in the Southern Broads, previously voted ‘Village of the Year’. Visitors will find boat hire on the River Chet, fishing and riverside walks, ducks to feed, inns, shops and a gastropub nearby. Within easy reach the fine sandy beaches of the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts are a must for family days out, as are Fritton Lake Country Park, Pleasurewood Hills at Lowestoft and beach huts at Wells-next-the-Sea. The elegant seaside town of Southwold is home to the famous Adnams brewery, independent shops and galleries, summer theatre and a traditional pier. Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, offers boat trips and Bewilderwood, Norfolk’s tree top attraction, which is a must for children. Craft centres, market towns with antique shops and local produce stores, and the medieval city of Norwich with its castle, cathedral, cinemas, ten pin bowling and excellent shopping are a short drive. London by train is about 2 hours away for a night out. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
