Dating back to the 18th century, this former Methodist Chapel has been sympathetically converted into a stunning and truly unique home. Located in the quiet village of Trelogan which enjoys both rural and coastal views, this detached holiday property successfully combines its original features of the chapel, including the two beautiful stained glass rose windows which occupy either end of the large open plan living area, with all the comforts and facilities one expects. The Flintshire village of Trelogan, whose pub is within a 5-minute walk, provides easy access to some of north Wales’ popular coastal resorts, such as Talacre Beach (4 miles), Prestatyn (5 miles) and Rhyl (9 miles). This is a great area for walking with the Offa’s Dyke path running from Prestatyn. Other activities available locally include fishing, horse riding and golf. Families will love Rhyl’s Sea Life Centre, Chester Zoo, Colwyn Bay’s Welsh Mountain Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium, which are all within a 30-minute drive. There are several National Trust properties within easy driving distance, including Speke Hall (19 miles), Bodnant Gardens (20 miles) and Erdigg (24 miles). Other places of interest nearby, include Rhuddlan Castle (6 miles) and Bodelwyddan’s Victorian Castle and Estate (12 miles). Alternatively, why not travel the Horseshoe Pass to the pretty town of Llangollen (34 miles) with its motor museum, horse drawn boats and the Llangollen Steam Railway. The historic city of Chester with its famous races is just a 30-minute drive and Liverpool can be reached in under an hour, making this an ideal destination for people looking for lots to see and do, and its proximity to the motorway network makes this the ideal touring base for those who want to explore both sides of the England/Wales border. Shop 1 mile, pub ½ mile.
