This detached holiday cottage is surrounded by unspoilt countryside and woodland, close to where the three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire meet. There are miles of public footpaths and bridle paths on the doorstep that lead right through the Teme Valley, taking in Titterstone Clee Hill which offers fabulous views from its summit over the surrounding three counties. Just 55 yards from the property guests have sole use of a fishing lake, which is fully stocked with carp (in season). The National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Burford House are a 10-minute drive. Tenbury, 2.5 miles, is set on the banks of the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard,’ and offers a range of interesting shops, quaint tea shops, antique shops and galleries. There is also a local swimming pool, golf courses and tennis courts. Tenbury is at the heart of the Spring Blossom route and close to the Black and White House route and forest trails. Ludlow is also a short drive away and is now famous for its top quality eateries and Michelin starred restaurants. The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are all within an easy 30-minute drive. Shop, pub and restaurant 2.5 miles.
