Standing in an elevated position, high above Craobh Haven Marina, with splendid views across the Sound of Jura and towards Mull, Taigh Nam Broc is a stunning contemporary holiday home. Tucked away near the end of a track this spacious and magnificent house offers peace and tranquillity. Craobh Haven offers a chandlery, a very good bar and restaurant and some of the best marina facilities in the country. From the doorstep there are plenty of walks, cycling and a riding stables. A sailing school and boat trips to see the wildlife and Corryvrecken, the world’s 3rd largest whirlpool, operate from the marina. Golf, fishing and hill walking can also be found close by. Nearby is Arduaine National Trust Gardens and a short drive away in Ardern is a village store, pub and seafood cafe. In the surrounding area, Kilmartin Glen is steeped in history and rich in archaeological and historical remains. Oban offers a more extensive range of services, with good shopping, a leisure centre, seafood restaurants and ferries to the Inner Hebrides including Mull, Iona, Staffa and Tiree. A day and night telescope adds a thrill to star gazing and wildlife-watching highlights include sea eagles, golden eagles and puffins, while otters, seals and deer can be seen along the shore. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, rugged glens and sea lochs, this is truly an ideal base for touring the west coast of Scotland, or just relax on the balcony and take in the views.
