Situated in a truly magnificent location, on the cliff tops edge of St Ann’s head in Pembrokeshire’s iconic national park, this unique 18th century old lighthouse and keepers cottage has been lovingly restored to a very good standard, retaining much of its original charm and character to provide guests an unforgettable holiday experience. Built in 1796, these extraordinary buildings have both been comfortably furnished reflecting a nautical theme throughout, with large open plan living areas and en-suite bedrooms. The Old Lighthouse (ref OU3) features a magical spiral staircase leading to a quirky double room, whilst the ‘look out’ gallery at the top of the tower boasts panoramic views of the coast where the offshore islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm are visible on a clear day! Guests can enjoy the indoor games room, heated swimming pool and sauna, or simply venture outside to the enclosed patio area and enjoy the spectacular views whilst watching the sunset over the bay. Just a short walk away is the coastal village of Dale tucked away in a sheltered harbour and is ideal for water enthusiasts and sailors both novice and experienced alike. The village pub is renowned locally for its fine ale and great pub food, while the embarkation point for Skomer Island can also be found, where guests can discover its amazing puffin colony and scenery. Visit award-winning beaches of Marloes Sands, Broadhaven and Newgale, renowned for sports activities, or discover the charming coastal villages of Solva and Porthgain, tucked away peacefully in tranquil fishing harbours which feature a number of cafés, art galleries and seafood restaurants, with freshly caught lobster always on the menu! Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, is within easy reach to the north of the country with its 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishops Palace, as are the numerous historic castles, charming market towns and thrilling leisure attractions dotted around this beautiful county. Beach 1 mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
