The Broads are a paradise for nature lovers, allowing bird watching and fishing from the property or from the private launch. The numerous footpaths and trails which crisscross the reserve can be explored on foot or by bicycle, in particular the popular
56-mile Weavers’ Way which winds through popular parts of the Broads on its way from Cromer to Great Yarmouth. Wroxham, considered to be the capital of the Broads, offers a wide selection of waterside cafés, restaurants, shops, railway station and a host of other amenities. The historic city of Norwich (8 miles) has a plethora of churches, a gothic cathedral and excellent shopping, eating and nightlife. For golfing enthusiasts, visit Sprowston Hall 6 miles away, whilst for sun lovers or a family day by the sea, sandy beaches can be found along the Norfolk coast, just 11 miles away.
