Opposite Seaton Beach

This attractive ground floor holiday apartment is located right opposite the pebble beach of Seaton and is ideal for families, couples and friends to get away. The mile-long beach is excellent for watersports, from sailing and swimming to diving and windsurfing. Tucked away in a corner of east Devon is the beautiful, unspoilt Axe Valley. Seaton’s unique tramway runs inland along the Axe Estuary, to the medieval market town of Colyton. Seaton lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the perfect location from which you can explore the many and varied attractions of East Devon as well as neighbouring Dorset. Known as the Jurassic Coast, this stretch of Dorset and east Devon coastline became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Wherever you go along the Jurassic Coast you will see quaint towns and villages, stunning scenery and evidence of a fascinating past. The South West Coastal path runs through the Axmouth Undercliffs NNR from Axmouth Harbour to the Cobb Harbour at Lyme Regis. This walk can be done at any time of the year. In the winter, you see more of the tumbled landscape and shore as the leaf cover has gone. In the spring, the woods are full of wild garlic and many other wild flowers. In the summer and autumn, it is a green jungle. Seaton Bay is a mile-long shelving shingle beach sheltered between cliffs. The beach can be fished both during the day and at night, with all styles of fishing allowed, including spinning and feathering as well as bottom baiting. Fishing trips can be can be booked from Beer, where boats will take people out fishing for mackerel in the summer months or charters can be booked all year round for fishing off wrecks and reefs in Lyme Bay. There are many NT properties all close by. Beach 10 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
