This 2 bedroomed, first floor holiday apartment has been decorated and furnished to a good standard, and is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk to Brixham Quay, with boat trips or fishing from the breakwater. A ferry to Torquay operates daily, which is a great day out, have an afternoon at the theatre or take the children to see penguins at Living Coasts. Approximately a 10-minute drive from Broadsands Beach, as well as a golf course. Explore Brixham, an old fishing port, with numerous seafood restaurants. Brixham forms the third part of Torbay, the other parts being Torquay and Paignton. The bay is known as the ‘English Riviera’ because of its unique micro-climate and Brixham shares this mild-climate. South Devon’s two cities, Exeter and Plymouth, are within easy driving distance, 30 miles, and offer their own tourist attractions, historical buildings and shops. Dartmoor is breathtakingly beautiful, at once romantic, mysterious, wild and eerie. You can visit the tourist spots or if you are an experienced walker and navigator, explore the depths of Dartmoor. See wild Dartmoor ponies, cross ancient stone bridges spanning the clear bubbling waters of the River Dart and other rivers, and feel the somewhat eerie presence of the Tors, 7 rocky hills which preside majestically over the moors. There are plenty of NT places to visit as well. Beach 1/2 mile. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
