The market town of Sheringham, 14 miles, with its shingle beach, has a traditional steam train and also offers Sheringham Park, a must for wildlife enthusiasts and walkers alike with over 1000 acres of woodland and coastal paths. The famous Norfolk Broads are also close by too and here you can hire your own launch or take a day cruise and watch the world go by. Visit Blakeney Quay or Cley-next-the-Sea, take a trip out to sea and see the seals (seasonal) or just enjoy miles of sandy and pebble beaches, excellent launching facilities for dinghies, windsurfing, water skiing and great fishing.
