Honeysuckle Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion set within the owner’s 3.5-acre grounds which are home to horses and chickens. Located in the centre of the coastal village of Reighton, with an enclosed garden and far reaching views of the sea, there is access to a footpath leading to a sandy beach, where children can enjoy rock pools and fossil hunting. Perfectly located to explore the Heritage coast of East Yorkshire. Bempton Cliff with its famous bird sanctuary, Flamborough Head, Scarborough and Filey are all easily reached. To the north is Robin Hood’s Bay, a village with a history of smuggling in days gone by. The ancient port of Whitby is known for its connections with Captain James Cook and Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park offers scenic drives, superb walking and cycle tracks, pretty villages tucked away deep in the valleys and a Roman road - a must for picnic spots. Historic homes, halls and castles surround the area, including Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Burton Agnes Hall with an Impressionist art collection including paintings by Renoir and Matisse, and the spectacular Castle Howard.
