Overlooking sub-tropical Queen Mary Gardens to Gyllyngvase Beach with its renowned café/restaurant, Gylly Beach View is superbly located and perfect for walking the coastal footpath, taking kayaking, canoeing or windsurfing lessons, or accessing the town of Falmouth on foot with its busy marinas and harbour. The town has a cinema, bowling, art galleries, shops, restaurants, bars and cafés, including Rick Stein’s famous fish and chip restaurant in Events Square. The National Maritime Museum hosts over a full calendar of events including Falmouth Week with entertainment and the famous Oyster Festival; Falmouth has also been the host town to the Tall Ships Race and numerous international sailing events. Take a small ferry to St Mawes, Flushing or a trip down the scenic Helford River and creeks or enjoy the popular sea safari to watch dolphins, basking sharks and seals. Relax on one of the beautiful sandy beaches in the area, including Gyllingvase Beach. Take a walk around the coastal path just outside the apartments to nearby Swanpool Beach and nature reserve; the small cove offers watersports, a beach café and a lake where visitors can feed the swans and ducks. Falmouth golf course is just a few minutes’ drive. Unwind and relax in the spa, take a swim or use the gym as a day member, at St Michael’s Hotel, just a short walk from the apartment.
