Quiet, peaceful location

This lovely, renovated, detached former head gardener’s cottage is situated in a peaceful location adjacent to a large walled garden and vineyard, on the edge of the village of Fulbeck. There are many country lanes around the holiday cottage which make it ideal for walking and cycling. Sleaford, 7 miles with ’The Hub’, The National Centre for Crafts and Design, and markets. The market town of Grantham, 10 miles, offers museums, National Trust houses and gardens to visit. Newark, 12 miles and Lincoln only 15 miles, both with castles, antique centres and many restaurants. The holiday cottage also provides a central base for exploring Lincolnshire which has something for everyone, from canoeing and theme parks to exploring the history of the area, admiring architecture from the 17th century, and nature reserves. Within an easy drive are Belvoir Castle with its breathtaking views, RAF Cranwell, Belton House and not forgetting Lincoln Cathedral, one of the finest Gothic buildings in Europe, which was used for filming the ’Da Vinci Code’. Shop and pub within walking distance.
