Ceilidhtail Cottage stands detached in an elevated position and enjoys spectacular views over Loch Ness, the ruins of Urquhart Castle and down towards Glen Urquhart. Furnished to a high standard, it is superbly positioned in a peaceful and tranquil setting, yet still close to the local amenities in the nearby village of Drumnadrochit with many facilities including the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition, several restaurants, shops and pubs. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area, with boat trips on Loch Ness, fishing, horse riding, walking, mountain biking and sailing available. Glen Affric, a National Nature Reserve contains one of the largest ancient Caledonian pinewoods in Scotland and is a haven for red deer, golden eagles, badgers, pine martens, otters and many other species of wildlife. Ceilidhtail is ideally situated for day trips with Inverness the capital of the Highlands approximately 14 miles, Fort William, Isle of Skye, Cairngorms and the Moray Coast all within easy reach or simply relax and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful location.
