This spacious, elegant, ground floor holiday property, completely self-contained with its own area of garden, is in a wing of the owners’ house on a working farm. It is superbly located for enjoying the nearby sandy beaches (3 miles) and quaint fishing villages of Anstruther with its attractive marina, Pittenweem which has a thriving arts festival in August, and Elie with its excellent watersports. Nearby Crail has one of the most picturesque harbours in Fife and the Isle of May is a renowned reserve for seals and seabirds, especially puffins. The ancient university town of St Andrews is 4 miles with its historic attractions, theatre, poetry festival in March, concerts, cinema, unique shops and pavement cafés. It is also the home of golf with many top-class courses and the Dunhill Cup in October each year. There are numerous farmers’ markets, garden visiting schemes, including the snowdrop festival in February and March, and highland games in the area. The Fife Coastal Tourist Route is excellent for walkers and there are extensive cycle paths. Shops 4 miles.
